When a hip restaurant consultant wanted to find a location for his new Lebanese Bistro, Commercial Drive had the right young, multi-cultural vibe. And his food concept: authentic, organic, locally grown, ‘made-from-scratch’ created a popular dining experience.
Thus for the interiors, the design vision was to create a room as raw as its recipes and asa humble and relaxing as eating it in your neighbours kitchen. So less ethnic vibe but more raw industrial and worn surfaces; with emphasis on integrity of the materials as-is.
