Even though Minichiello Jewellers had been an establishment in one downtown Vancouver building for 50 years, it was now time for the family business to move. Thus the opportunity to replace dated colours, washed-out lighting and bulky display cabinets that did not highlight the merchandise properly.
Since the showroom has never catered solely to brides, the appearance and function had to be modern yet classic enough to appeal to all generations and genders for a variety of occasions. Wood floor, neutral toned patterns and bronze detailing provided a restrained elegance to offset the sparkling jewelry. There was also careful consideration to hardware, site lines and storage requirements to allow staff to work efficiently and focus on clientele.
